Tracks for Cruisin'

This post will be the start of a section of the DiscoDinasty blog dedicated to tracks that I see as perfect cruising music, whether your driving on a windy or straight stretch of road. Here are my selections.

February Mix picks

A lot of sweet new mixes have been released this month, so I thought I'd share which one's I'm liking right now. The first is an essential mix by Eric Prydz. This is a very repetitive mix, so only those who truly appreciate slow progression will enjoy it. My next pick is yet another essential mix put together by Tensnake. The second track in the mix is my favorite at the moment, an untitled track by Tensnake himself. And finally we finish it all off with a mix by the one and only Jonas Rathsman. After all of the legit house tracks he and the French Express boys have produced, I am an undying fan of the label.

Jessie Ware

Recently I took a liking to most all of Jessie Ware's tracks. There's something about her voice that conveys emotion extremely well. The beats aren't bad either. I'm willing to bet she will see much more press in 2013, so keep your eyes peeled. Here's my selection of favorites.

Jakatta - It Will Be

Well after 8 months without a single post on the DiscoDinasty blog I've decided to get it started up again. I found this track today while listening to Royksopp radio on Pandora, and knew it was worth posting. It sort of reminds me of Boards of Canada in a way. Without further ado here is my recent discovery.

They Call It God

Sorry for the lack of posts recently, finals week is approaching quickly. Anyways here is a new preview from Bustre, a drum and bass artist previously named Bustrexx. I am truly obsessed with this track because of it deep trancey sort of nature. A lot of Bustre's new work sounds very promising. Can't wait to get my hands on this track. Enjoy!

Structure - Beauty In Torture (Dynomyt Remix)

Just thought I'd share this banging track before saturday night begins, that way you can have something to get you pumped up for the night ahead. I discovered Dynomyt because he recently started following me so I gave his channel a listen. Here's one of his tracks that I really like, enjoy the rest of the weekend!

Just a Second

This track was released roughly 10 hours ago and I've played it that many times at least. A natural progression is definitely present in this track, and the drop is hugely dope as described by one of the listeners. This track is both a banger and thought provoking all at the same time. Hope you enjoy this as much as I do, can't seem to stop playing it :)
